We have for review the opinion in Raford v. State, 792 So. 2d 476 (Fla. 4th DCA 2001), which certified conflict with Wilson v. State, 744 So. 2d 1237 (Fla. 1st DCA 1999). We have jurisdiction. See art. V, Â§ 3(b)(4), Fla. Const. For the reasons set forth below, we approve the Fourth Districts decision affirming Rafords conviction for child abuse and rejecting his claim of parental privilege and immunity as to the abuse charged and tried.
